Welcome to PAUSE People Coaching

Sowing the seeds of self-regulation at home, early and often.

The PAUSE System is a commitment, a practice, and a roadmap that helps parents learn how to pause, strengthen self-regulation, and become the architects of the spaces, interactions, and routines that shape the rhythm of family life.

Designed as a practice for cultivating a steady state of mind, helping parents hit PAUSE on reactive “autopilot” patterns and consciously shape the everyday routines and interactions that support their child’s emerging self-regulation/executive function skills.

The PAUSE System is shaped by a combined 40+ years of experience and follows CDC Guidelines for kids and families navigating ADHD. Members have access to the PAUSE Workbook™, printable resources, replays, live Zoom Office Hours for targeted coaching, and connection with the growing PAUSE community.

CAITRIONA, CHELSEA

"If you are at a place where you feel overwhelmed or alone in parenting a child with ADHD, this space will provide you with tools to implement immediately, and connect you with a mindset that will help you to feel confident in your parenting responses, after you felt like you lost hope."

PAUSE People is a voice for kids who aren’t born organized; kids who need more structure and guidance at home to be successful as school and life demands get more complicated.  â€‹

Our mission is to disrupt a growing and predictable trend: more students entering their teen years with lagging self-regulation (aka executive function) skills, often hitting an emotional wall later, when life's demands outpace the skills they’ve been taught to juggle it all.

In order to flex their emerging self-regulation (aka executive function) skills, disorganized kids need help at home with more consistent routines and positive habits, like regular bedtimes, smooth transitions, clear limits, and expectations.

PAUSE People is subtle and profound at the same time.  It is a warm, supportive, highly applicable coaching environment that weaves together research, real life examples, humor, and digestible takeaways.  It made a difference in our home after the first session.
